Setup
From membership to a protected server.
You need a Windows or Linux 64-bit CS2 dedicated server with Metamod 2.0.0.1469 (API 18). CS2FOW also needs a CPU with AVX.
- Step 1
Join and get your key
Join a plan, then message me on Discord. I verify the membership, activate the license manually and send the licensed Windows or Linux package.
- Step 2
Install
Use the installer I provide for a first install. Put your key in cs2ac.cfg (cs2ac_license_key) and cfg/cs2fow.cfg (cs2fow_license_key); it is the same key for both.
- Step 3
Restart and check
Fully restart the server, then run meta list, cs2ac_status and cs2fow_status. Each status line is tagged OK, WARN, FAIL or INFO and ends with one next step.

Updates
Packages with the updater download updates while the license is active. A downloaded update installs on the next full server restart.

Getting started
Can I try them before paying?
Yes. The Single-Server plan on Buy Me a Coffee starts with a 7-day free trial. I send your key by hand after you join, and the same key keeps working once the trial turns into a paid membership.
What does a license include?
One license key covers both CS2AC and CS2FOW on the number of servers in your plan, with updates and Discord help while the membership is active. Check the compatibility status before paying.
How do I get my license key and download?
After joining, message me on Discord. I verify your membership, activate your license manually and send the licensed package. Keep your license key private.
Do players need to install anything?
No. The server owner installs the plugins on the CS2 server. Players join as usual and download nothing.
Which server setup do I need?
A Windows or Linux 64-bit CS2 dedicated server. Current packages target Metamod 2.0.0.1469 (API 18). Older API 17 packages need their matching Metamod and a manual upgrade. CS2FOW also needs a CPU with AVX. Ask me to confirm your CS2 version before installing.
How do I check the installation?
Use the installer I provide for a first install. Keep your config and license key when updating. Fully restart the server, then run meta list and cs2ac_status or cs2fow_status. A downloaded update is not active until that restart.
Do I need to install every update by hand?
Packages that include the updater download plugin and CS2 compatibility updates after I publish them, as long as the license is active. Restart the server to install them. The plugins never restart your server or update CS2 itself. Some older packages cannot update themselves; ask me on Discord if you are unsure which one you have.
What happens if a CS2 update breaks compatibility?
I check what changed and test a fix. Some updates take time, and some need a manual install. If a plugin does not recognise the CS2 build, it stays off instead of guessing until compatible files are available.
Can I use these in Premier or on someone else’s server?
No. You need access to the CS2 server to install them. A license does not add protection to Valve matchmaking or to servers you do not run.
Do you work with hosting panels and platforms?
Yes. There is a separate Platform Partnership plan. Message me before activation so we can agree on the setup and any custom work.
